Service Dog Control: the 28-day board & train.

Four weeks of training for owners who want the highest standard of reliability.

Service Dog Control is a 28-day board and train for owners who want their dog trained to a high performance standard. It’s about real-world reliability, not paperwork. It’s designed to give you reliability that matches or beats most service dogs, even if your dog is wild or difficult today.

Josie’s story.

Josie was facing euthanasia for aggressive behavior. Lee trained her to be a service dog, and today she serves a soldier who lost both of his legs.

What your dog learns

Your dog gets extensive training in every area:

  • Sit, down, stay, come, and wait
  • Heel, off, and “off the road”
  • Back, quiet, relax, bed, and drop
  • No, and more

More important than the list, your dog learns to respond under heavier distraction than most service dogs ever face.

How it works

  1. Book a consultation. Use the form, or call or text 260-238-8675.
  2. Drop-off. Your dog trains with me until they pass every test for my service dog standards. That usually takes about a month. Visits are by appointment only.
  3. Pick-up session. A longer 1-on-1 session, usually about 90 minutes. Stay until you’re confident.
  4. Out in the world. Keep applying the same skills everywhere you go, and the reliability holds.

Is it right for your dog?

If you need a dog you can take anywhere and count on, this is the program. Tell me about your dog and we’ll talk through whether it fits.
